SMG ADC Technical Graduate Intern
Intel’s Sales, Marketing and Communications Group (SMG) is looking for candidates to join our organization for an upcoming internship on our ADC team. SMG is collectively responsible for driving the accelerated adoption of Intel technology. The Application Design-In Center (ADC) in Intel's Sales, Marketing and Communications Group provides world-class support to our large customers and developer partners. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on Intel's Atom, Core, Xeon product lines.
The ADC Technical Intern scope could include, but is not limited to:
Investigating, debugging, and troubleshooting various software/hardware designs in support of Intel Architecture designs across all product segments.
Replicating customer issues and researching problems and work with Intel engineering teams to communicate issues, and coordinating the technical resources required to resolve problems.
Work closely with technical engineers to supports customers from product definition, hardware design/bring up, validation stages, and through postproduction support.

These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with three years’ related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor’s degree and less than three years’ experience.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
Must be pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any related field
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Graduation Date June 2023 or later
Able to work part time (~20hrs/week) October 2022-May 2023
At least 6+ months of experience with computer architecture
Must be able to work fulltime during summer college break
Experience/knowledge reviewing and interpreting schematics, PCB layout files
Knowledge with lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, and working with firmware programmers
Familiar with software development practices/tools on IA based platforms
Understanding of Linux or Windows environment
