Job Description

The Products and Platform Team within the Data Platforms Marketing Group, in Intel's Global Marketing Organization, is chartered with delivering simple, cohesive, and scalable positioning, prioritization and messaging across Data Center technologies. As a member of this team, you will partner in the success of marketing Data Center security technologies through content creation and peer education. To achieve this, you will need an in-depth knowledge of security products and technologies and product value positioning.

A member of a team your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Be the security marketing expert for the assigned security workloads and solutions, understanding and championing the technical merits of Intel technologies running on those workloads.

  • Articulate the compelling and differentiated value of Intel security technologies across the spectrum of deployment options (bare metal, virtualized, cloud instance or service).

  • Create dedicated content for new datacenter security technologies.

  • Create and build upon customer proof points for current datacenter security solutions in market (or coming to market soon).

  • Manage content resources page (add assets new, manage the internal customer experience).

  • Willing to collaborate with and influence the internal marketing teams for inclusion into their workload campaigns.

  • Solid communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Requires writing solution briefs articulating the Intel-value proposition for specific workloads.


You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity holding a role in technical sales or marketing with a strong track record of positioning solutions and/or workloads (e.g., Security, Database, Analytics, AI, HPC, web) and developing sales content.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in data center hardware and software trends and solutions.

  • Working knowledge of virtualization/software-defined data center, containers/function-as-a-service, big data analytics, database, application middleware, HPC, Machine Learning, Storage and Networking as well as general Enterprise IT/applications knowledge.

  • Solid understanding of various CSP software solution stacks including compute, orchestration, infrastructure management, as well as storage and networking.

  • Knowledge of ISV's and how they market their solutions.

  • Master's degree in cybersecurity or computer science.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
