LTD Industrial Engineering Intern
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with engineers and scientists that are developing and optimizing the manufacturing processes for current and future silicon technology nodes
Work on productivity and efficiency projects that will help accelerate Intel's ability to deliver critically needed semiconductor products.
Create and validate capacity models for fab equipment, then use those models to determine equipment requirements to meet fab technology ramps across the company
Spatially optimize the configuration of first-of-a-kind equipment and use that information to create layout blocks and fab and labs layouts
Completing efficiency time studies resulting in new procedures or fixtures to facilitate work in the fab

This is an internship for 3 months and compensation will be given accordingly based on the candidate's education level and internship duration. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship.Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below may be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Candidate must be enrolled in a 4-year degree program in Engineering or other quantitative disciplines.
Junior or Senior enrolled in the following:
Operations Research degree program
