As a LTD Device Engineer your job responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

Uses predictive modeling, statistics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from the structure and unstructured data. Develop software, algorithms, and applications to apply mathematics to data, perform large-scale experimentation and build data-driven apps to translate data into intelligence, solve a variety of business problems and enable business strategy. Assists business with casual inferences and observations with finding patterns, and relationships in data. Must possess a strong understanding of internal business segment (stakeholders) and possess strong written and communication skills. Typically requires expertise in relational database structures, research methods, machine learning, Cloud-based technologies, Big Data technologies (i.e. Hadoop , HBase, Lucene/Solr), analytics packages (i.e. R, Mahout, Matlab, Octave, Weka), scripting languages (i.e. Python, Perl), programming languages (i.e. Java, C/C++, SQL). Typically possesses an advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Operation Research, and Statistics or equivalent expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess a master's degree in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Material Science, Any scientific discipline related to semiconductor fabrication, device physics, and materials.

  • 6 + months of experience in one or more of the following: Semiconductor fabrication, device physics, material science, or electrical characterization, Statistical Process Control (SPC) or Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and engineering analysis tools, Analytical Techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Transistor Device Structures and Device Physics

  • Semiconductor or processing and device fabrication

  • Process monitoring test structures design and layout experience

  • Electrical characterization of transistor devices

  • Device and circuit simulation

  • Model-based problem solving

  • Expertise in data analysis programs (JMP, Matlab, Octave)

  • Expertise in scripting languages (Python, JSL, Perl, TCL) and machine learning packages.

  • Expertise in programming languages (C, C++, SQL)

  • Machine Learning, Operation Research, and Statistics or equivalent expertise.
