The Global Retirement Program Office (GRPO) Manager leads and establishes the strategy for the delivery of more than 70 Global Retirement and other related Benefit Plans to over 100,000 Intel employees worldwide. The GRPO manager and management team sets priorities for the organization focused on results (Objectives and Key Results - OKRs) and delivering global retirement benefits administration in line with Business Process Management (BPM) quality standards. The GRPO manager is expected to foster an inclusive work environment, coach and develop employees, and manage performance in line with all Intel cultural values.

Key partners include Global Benefits Design, Payroll, HR Global Operations (HRGO), other HR Global Services (HRGS) organizations, Business HR, Corporate Strategic Procurement, Legal, Tax, and others. Those partnerships are critical for the GRPO to deliver retirement benefits to participants with quality and in compliance with laws, regulations and fiduciary requirements wherever Intel does business.

This manager will be part of the Global Benefits and Retirement (GBR) staff and report to the GBR Director.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible to:

  • Influencing and aligning with partners to implement Retirement Benefits design changes.

  • Influencing and aligning on communication strategies.

  • Removing barriers for the team.

  • Holding vendor management accountable to Intel expectations.

  • Establishing retirement benefits policies and ensuring the team supports employee queries.

  • Work closely with senior management around the world in support Retirement and other benefits supported by the GRPO.

  • Use sound judgment and data driven decision making in all situations and with all levels of personnel at Intel.

In addition, the ideal candidate should also have the following skills:

  • Stakeholder management (including senior management).

  • Influencing skills.

  • Communication skills.

  • Discipline in execution of business operations in line with quality standards, and coaching/staff development skills.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Actuarial Science, Accounting, Business Administration or related field with 8+ years of Global Retirement Benefits administration and 5+ years of leader and management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master degree in relevant field and/or specific professional designations related to Retirement Benefits with 6+ years of Global Retirement Benefits experience.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
