Job Description

The Test Solution and Tester Development (TSTD) team designs, develops, and provides a breakthrough massively parallel low-cost test technology for silicon validation and high-volume manufacturing.

The TSTD tester includes multiple FPGA devices on various instruments, drivers, and a software stack.

The team is central to the organization with interfaces to HW design, SW development which interact with HW, and driver development.

We are currently looking for an FPGA IP Validation Engineer who will develop tests to ensure that the IP behaves as expected.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Expertise converting documentation into requirements for tests.
  • Developing and maintaining a regression suite written in Python and C++.
  • Drive standardized processes during implementations and continuously improve with the team.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field +3 years' experience or Master's Degree with +1 years' experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years industry experience in FPGA IP/Logic validation.

Experience in one or more of the following:

  • Software development as part of a teamPython programming, including object oriented application
  • Developing software that interacts with FPGAs or CPLDs.
  • Developing software that interacts with
  • Interfaces such as I2C, SPI, PCIe, DDR, and SERDES.Circuit fundamentals and use of schematics.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
