This role sits on the Indirect Contract Enablement (ICE) team which operates within Global Source to Pay Operations (GSPO) to provide centralized, adaptable. Procurement expertise that bridges across all of the GSC's sourcing business units. The Contract Enablement Manger is responsible for developing and managing relationships with sourcing partners and for providing procurement solutions that optimize contract compliance goals, maximize the negotiated contract value, and deliver executable transactions in our E2E procurement systems (Ariba, SAP, etc.). Through partnership with sourcing commodity managers, ICE and CM work together to translate negotiation strategies and achieved positions into executable downstream procurement transactions.

As a team, the ICE and CM systematize contracts to achieve the full negotiated value. The ICE team also executes and maintains contract compliance setup processes for all contracts.

As the Contract Enablement Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Partnering with GSC sourcing business units (CMs) to diagnose negotiation strategies, to recommend the optimal structures for the agreement in Ariba and to perform correct system setup that allows E2E transaction flow through procurement systems.

  • Leading sourcing through the process of setting up contract structures that drive procurement execution in the system and contract terms that are operationalized in the system versus manually offline.

  • Executing Contract Compliance setup of contracts in Ariba and performs all compliance maintenance for contracts (Hierarchy, Contract Types, Sub-Agreement Scenarios and Attributes).

  • Operating as a Center of Excellence in the areas of Procurement, Sourcing and Contract Compliance through shared learnings from across GS CM; Recommends best methods of contract set-up and execution to ensure compliance.

  • Comprehending downstream impacts of contract terms on PR/PO, invoicing/payment, tax, accounting, etc.

  • Establishing and maintains documented standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Evolving processes and adjusting to the release of new capabilities and as the volume of converted and Net New contracts increases over time.

  • Ensuring governance and approval processes are followed for any exceptions.

  • Building strategic relationships across multiple levels of GSC sourcing business units.

  • Adapting processes based on new learnings and system capability enhancements within a new and evolving organization.

  • Driving operational performance and accountability of processes and governance requirements.

  • Developing a supply chain network to leverage best known methods for strategic applications.

  • Thinking cross-supply chain or end-to-end when developing creative solutions.

  • Driving change and value in the supply chain by gaining efficiencies in business process, and/or systems that improve stakeholder and customer satisfaction.

  • Knowing the control requirements and due diligence for procurement / negotiation processes.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field of study.

3+ years of experience in supply chain management:

  • Specifically procurement, supplier selection/management, contract negotiations, logistics/distribution, materials management, and experience building strategic relationships across multiple organizations and stakeholder levels to assess procurement term strategies and to influence optimal contract structures for system procurement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in supply chain management, sourcing or procurement; specifically procurement, supplier sourcing/management, contract negotiations, logistics/distribution, materials management, factory operations, procurement.

  • Understanding of Ariba/SAP procurement systems/processes and procurement-related contract terms.

  • Expertise of Ariba procurement system capabilities, negotiations/ contracting processes and commercial terms related to optimal execution in Intel's procurement systems.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
