Components Research Lab Lithography Technician
Join Intel-and build a better tomorrow. Intel is in the midst of an exciting transformation, with a vision to create and extend computing technology to connect and enrich the lives of every person on Earth. So join us-and help us create the next generation of technologies that will shape the future for decades to come.
About the group:
The Components Research (CR) mission is to invent and demonstrate revolutionary and game-changing process technologies that enable Intel's product leadership. The CR lab team is looking for a motivated candidate to process laboratory scale experiments with a focus on novel materials for advanced patterning applications.
About the role:
The candidate will be responsible for performing experiments on small wafers or coupons cut from 300mm wafers, will actively participate in safety reviews for new experiments and will be expected to provide recommendations to engineering on how to improve the running of experiments and/or tools.
This position will require the candidate to work in both clean room and non-clean room lab environments on various semiconductor processing and metrology tools. With its emphasis on lithography, the successful candidate will be expected to role model best safety practices by following EHS approved procedures in handling photoresists and the associated chemicals for their processing. Most assignments are semi-routine in nature and are performed within generally defined parameters. Lab technicians normally receive general instructions on most work and are active participants in defining workflows. Technicians work frequently with process engineers on research projects and have opportunities to work independently as their specialized skills increase.
The candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits and/or skills:
Detail-oriented, multi-tasking, self-motivated requiring minimal supervision once trained.
Interest in working with vacuum-based lab-level lithography and metrology equipment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable in using Microsoft Office apps to generate reports.
Eager to take on challenges and complete complex tasks within given timelines
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
We're constantly working on making a more connected and intelligent future, and we need your help. Change tomorrow. Start today.Qualifications
