Job Description

We are looking for an energetic candidate who has a passion for technology and working with commercial and collaborative applications across many platforms. In this position, you will work with external customers and software vendors to ensure software runs best on Intel Platforms. You are joining a team who analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and makes software enhancements and/or new products. We share our experiences through technical collateral such as case studies, white-papers, blogs, demos, and software contributions to benefit a broad range of customers. We work with a full range of Intel's compute capabilities on next-generation consumer platforms that impacts commercial applications. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Pathfinding opportunities with collaboration applications intercepting the HW accelerators.

  • Development of workloads for Windows and Chrome PCs demonstrating performance leadership.

  • Collaborate with partners in a cross geo team environment and adapting to rapidly changing environments.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Experience in the areas of programming, commercial and IT programming knowledge, security technology, and system management knowledge is preferred. The experience could be acquired through school work/classes/research and/or relevant jobs.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science or related fields with 3+ years of experience in C/C++ programming, performance optimization, parallelization for multi-core IA

  • Modern processor architecture, including CPU, GPU, memory and storage sub-system and other components.

  • 2+ years of Windows software experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science or related fields with 2 years of C/C++ programming, performance optimization, parallelization for multi-core IA.

  • Familiarity with Intel vPro, Intel Evo, and underlying technologies (such as Intel Active Management Technology).

  • Familiarity with x86 architecture and experience with software performance optimization.

  • Knowledge of Intel software development tools and performance libraries

The Client Computing Group (CCG) is responsible for driving business strategy and product development for Intel's PC products and platforms, spanning form factors such as notebooks, desktops, 2 in 1s, all in ones. Working with our partners across the industry, we intend to continue to advance PC experiences to deliver the real-world performance people demand. Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
