Job Description

The Cloud Segment Marketing Director will work across the business units, marketing, and sales, to drive the holistic marketing strategy that accelerates our business and bolsters Intel’s value with the top cloud hyperscalers.

As a marketing leader in Datacenter and AI Marketing , this role managers a team that defines and drives the marketing priorities and marketing playbook. The team is responsible for developing the overall audience-specific messaging of the benefits and value propositions of the Intel datacenter product offerings (hardware and software/services) targeting the hyperscalers audiences for use by the Intel field, outbound marketing, and partner marketing teams.

Responsibilities of the team may include but not be limited to:

  • Creating marketing content, including sales enabling assets, training, customer case studies, competitive marketing content, and content for industry events.

  • Equipping and acting as a resource for Intel sales with messaging, content, tools, and marketing insight to win and grow Intel’s business with the cloud hyperscalers.

  • Enabling deeper engagement with a range of global cloud service providers, including driving the Intel Cloud Summit program and Cloud Board of Advisors.

  • Partnering and ensuring alignment of marketing plans along with overall marketing support for the Hyperscale and Strategic Customers business unit within DCAI.

 In addition to the qualifications a successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven manager and leader with experience building and developing teams, solid management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications, including content development.

  • Ability to work across groups and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strategic thinker with track record of delivering business, marketing and/or product innovation.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

 Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, engineering, or related.

           8+ years of experience in marketing

           5+ years of experience with a Cloud Service Provider 

     Preferred Qualifications: 

      Experience with Managing teams 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Understanding of the cloud market, services, and cloud customers/users.

  • Understanding of datacenter and cloud performance evaluation methods and benchmarks.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
