Job Description

In this position you will have the chance to deeply understand de Silicon Design cycle in general and the Pre-Silicon platforms and solutions that we develop to improve the health of the ingredients and system components. You will have the chance to learn, develop and improve our Emulation platforms and technologies to accelerate silicon development and improve our products.

Among the responsibilities, you will find:

  • Creates PreSi Emulation models from a Register Transfer Level RTL design using emulation.
  • Defines and documents RTL changes required for emulation
  • Develops hardware and software collaterals and integrates it with the emulation model
  • Tests and debugs the emulation model and collaterals.
  • Develops and applies automation aids flows and scripts in support of emulation ease of use and improvement of equipment utilization.
  • Uses the Emulation models to perform PreSi Validation for Xdie system flows in domains such as Boot Reset Power Management Security RAS.

Qualifications

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry-relevant job experience, internship experiences and or school work/classes/research.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualificaitions:

  • Active student of Electronic/Electrical/Systems Engineering or related fields
  • 3+ months of experience in computer architectures and interfaces
  • 50% of bachelor courses approved.
  • 3+ months of experience in programming languages knowledge such as : C, C++, Python, Perl, and/or Java
  • Intermediate+ English


Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of:

  • Digital design
  • Hardware Description Languages Verilog or VHDL
  • Linux Operations Systems
  • Executing commands at a command prompt

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
