As a DevOps Manager in our Tools, Flows and Methods team, you will lead a team of experienced engineers who are focused on improving developer effectiveness across Intel through automated CI/CD and analytics to deliver faster deployments with better quality. You'll partner with groups across Intel to identify opportunities, lead efforts toward industry best practices, and help accelerate Intel's journey to becoming a 'software first' company.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
- 4+ years of technical knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • Industry best practices across the full software development life cycle
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) tools and methodologies (Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps etc.) and utilizing monitoring/logging solutions
  • Programming experience with one or more of the scripting languages (e.g. Python, Groovy, Shell Scripts, etc.)
  • Infrastructure as Code
  • Containerized systems architecture and the tools used to manage these systems

- 2+ years leading a DevOps team or related software development team
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

  • Able to influence senior decision-makers, manage partner relationships, and lead business development

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
