Mathematical Hardware Intern
If you're interested in computer graphics and working with leading graphics hardware engineers on Intel's latest GPU/CPU architecture, then our Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group (AXG) has an Internship opportunity for you. We are looking for Mathematical Hardware Intern to join our team.
In this role your responsibilities will be the following
- Use theorem provers to verify the correctness of highly optimized RTL components
- Apply equivalence checking methodologies to guarantee that the RTL matches a golden C model
- Build a scalable framework to facilitate the verification of the next generation of components
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Skills and Experience that we are looking for:
Must be pursuing Master's degree or PhD in Mathematics, Electrical/ Electronic engineering, computer science or related field:
Desirable Skills and Experience that will make you stand out:
- Knowledge of HDL, C++ and Python
- Understanding of floating point arithmetic
- Exposure to formal methods and their applications to hardware verification
- Preparation and delivery of technical presentations
Must be available for 7+ months Internship
