This position is associated with the sale of Intel's NAND memory and storage business to SK Hynix (You can read more about the transaction in the press release - ).

  • Come join our 3D NAND Logic Design and Verification team as a Technical Graduate Intern and work on one of the most advanced 3DNAND technology in the world. As the global leader in the semiconductor industry, Intel possesses many industry-leading SSD technologies including the most capable Quadruple Level Cell QLC NAND Flash products.

  • As a Technical Graduate Intern, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK Hynix.

This position aligns with Phase 2 of the transaction which includes NAND technology and component development along with fab operations Employees aligned to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel and continue to develop NAND technology and components and manufacture NAND wafers at the fab. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to SK Hynix.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. This is a 6-month internship starting Spring 2023 with the possibility of an extension.


You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience. This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Requirements
The candidate must be pursuing an MS degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ months of experience in the following:

  • Logic Design

  • RTL Design and Verification

  • Verilog / System-Verilog

  • CMOS Semiconductor Device

Preferred Requirements :

  • Minimum 5+ months of experience in the following:

  • FW Development

  • Experience with custom design environments such as Cadence Virtuoso

  • Unix environment, and Programming/Scripting languages such as C, C++, PERL, TCL, Python

  • UVM
