Information Security Data Analyst/Engineer - Intern
Come intern with Intel's IT Infrastructure and Information Security organization! You will be a member of a highly collaborative Agile DevOps delivery team of information security professionals who are responsible for providing best-in-class security capabilities that keep Intel secure and deliver business value to our stakeholders.
We are looking for an undergraduate student in their third or fourth year of college who is highly motivated and available to work part time (20 hours per week) for 6 months and further develop their data science skills.
You will partner with Information Security Analysts/Engineers, and Software Developers to help configure, manage, secure and integrate data platforms and applications to support Intel's business needs. We are looking for an aspiring Data Engineer who can help with application development and data integration/management.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science/Engineering, Cyber/Information Security, Mathematics/Statistics, or any other science/engineering related field
Understanding of, and/or completed coursework in one or more of the following:
- Data Analytics
- Information security models and concepts
- Cloud Computing and Cloud Security Components
Understanding of, and/or completed coursework in:
- Data science, data analytics, and data visualization/reporting techniques and tools
- Microsoft SQL and relational databases (SQL server/MySQL) and NoSQL
- IT/Security Systems Engineer/Administrator duties
- Software development concepts including Agile
- Security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
