Come join our Design Environment team as a Design Automation Intern and work on one of the most advanced 3DNAND and Solid State Drive (SSD) technology portfolios in the world. As a Design Automation Intern, you will be part of a world-class team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working in a primarily Linux environment to help support the NAND Design Engineers.

  • Develop and deploy automation to help support the Linux environment.

  • Interact with Design Engineers to solve problems and develop new processes to improve their computing environment.

  • Apply design methodologies to help execute projects effectively and successfully with high quality.

  • Candidate may work on web development in either PHP or JavaScript depending on their individual skills.

The internship will start in Jan 2023, is full time, and be for 6-8 months.

The position is associated with the sale of the NAND business to SK Hynix aligning to Phase 2 of the transaction. Employees aligned to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel developing NAND technology and components. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to Solidigm, a stand-alone US subsidiary of SK Hynix headquartered in San Jose, California with offices world-wide. You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork classes and project work internships military training and or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information system (BIS) ,Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, including the following:

  • 3+ months of experience with any version of Linux or Unix.

  • 3+ months of experience in a programming language (Perl, Python, Java, or similar programming language).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Web application development experience (PHP or JavaScript).

This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or Ph.D. degree, or a Bachelor's degree with three years' related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
