Job Description� Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development. � Develop model to estimate binsplit forecast through process evaluation, MCP package assessment and thermal impact analysis. � Application base power estimate, Quartus/PTC power breakdown analysis and perform competitive analysis to identify performance and power gap. � Explore opportunities for product performance/power/yield improvement through process node selection, library choice, IP optimization, packaging technology evaluation, thermal analysis and system level optimization. � Evaluate timing/power signoff methodology to identify design pessimism and drive guard band reduction to improve performance, power and binsplit. � Develop post-silicon correlation methodology to validate pre-silicon estimate and assumptions. Validate post-silicon EOL Fmax degradation, within-die transistor and interconnect variation and close miscorrelation with hardware design team. � Evaluate transceiver protocol power and explore power reduction opportunities. � Explore power management options and power delivery strategy for FPGAQualifications� Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. � 5+ years of experience in a hardware design, design-technology co-optimization role or circuit design or advance packaging technology development � 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following: � Low power design, timing sign-off analysis, circuit simulation, die disaggregation 2.5D/3D packaging � ASIC design and place-and-route � Benchmark circuit development and analysis, design-technology co-optimization, post-silicon validation and optimizationInside this Business GroupThe Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) was formed from the acquisition of Altera.
