Job Description- Responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp. - Debug and root cause sort and package yield fallout on ATE platform. - Work closely with FAB on resolving yield issues. - Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits. - Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods. - Develops and debugs complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment. - Creates and tests validation and production test hardware solutions. - Tests, validates, modifies and redesigns circuits to guarantee component margin to specification. - Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability. - Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.QualificationsMinimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: - BS and 4+ years of experience in related fields (Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering/Science and Allied fields) - Experience in logic design, design testing, and computer architecture, analog circuits - Expertise in developing software automation capability to drive efficient solutions for high volume manufacturing. Preferred Qualifications: - Masters preferred - ATE (automated test equipment) test content and program development experience. - PCB Board design Experience. - Experience in yield analysis, test method/program development, debugging complex test circuits. - Experience in Programming and Automation - (Python, C++ or Perl) - Experience programming in HDLs - (Verilog, VHDL) Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.Inside this Business GroupThe Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) was formed from the acquisition of Altera.
