Job Description
The Xeon Engineering (XEG) Group is seeking a senior pre-silicon verification engineer for IP/SoC Design teams in Bangalore. XEG is responsible for delivering on all aspects of System-on-Chip (SoC) design including logic design, pre-silicon validation, structural design, and design for test. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving verification of key designs for the Xeon SP SOC's for Intel's Server Portfolio. ? Key Accountabilities: o Works with design and micro-architecture teams to develop end to end validation strategy and plan, test content development and running system level simulation models, debugging, identify coverage methodology to be followed and deployment, Coverage analysis. Development of checkers/Monitors/BFM required for the Validation. o Work on all aspects of the SoC Verification flow from validation plan definition to validation closure (TP creation, Test Bench creation, content development, checkers/scoreboard, coverage) to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing o Ensure an inclusive teamwork environment, inspire teams, and role model adaptability, learning, and Intel's values o Work effectively with several partner and stakeholder teams globally In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will also demonstrate soft skills like: o Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills o Strong written and verbal communication skills o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills o Effective teamwork with both internal and external teams/customers o Mentoring skills towards other Engineers To be considered for this position you must meet the minimum education and experience requirements.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: BE in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 10+ years and ME/MS with 8+ experience in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or other related field of study in SOC Design and Verification: ? Should have hands on prior experience on writing tests, test environment, test plans, verification components, coverage etc. Should have good knowledge on Pre-Si verification flows and methodologies, System Verilog, UVM/OVM, BFM/Scoreboard/Checker development, Tcl/Perl/Python or similar. Should be a strong team player and willing to mentor/guide junior team. Resolving and debugging issues at the system, SOC and IP level ? Preferred Qualifications: Good understanding of processor architecture and validation of the same. Experience in register/memory/coherent/non-coherent flows/RAS/security/power management flow validation. ? Expertise in complex pre-silicon validation as demonstrated by silicon results. ? Track record of technical leadership in driving the team that architected, implemented and productized commercially successful products ? Resolving and debugging issues at the system, SOC and IP level

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
