This position is hybrid during the 20-week returnship program. The IPG IP Engineering Group is looking for an energetic and passionate pre-silicon functional verification Engineer. As the IP Pre-Silicon verification Engineer you will be responsible for but not limited to working on high-speed digital design validation targeted towards low power optimized IP implementations. You will participate in the verification of IPs for various DDR technologies. You will be required to create verification test plans, drive/participate in discussions across various disciplines to get a clear understanding of requirements for pre-silicon RTL verification, develops/run/debug tests in System Verilog. You will focus on executing to pre-Silicon validation plans as per the IP/product release schedule and deliverables, and also carry out debug, report failures, report potential failures and help with root-causing the failures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical on a small, fast-moving team. As part of a growing, dynamic new business, the candidate must be successful working with many cross functional teams and manage multiple tasks and changing requirements, in an innovative environment.QualificationsYou must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. Minimum Qualifications � Candidates must have taken a career break for 2 or more years. � Candidates must have a minimum of 5 Years of professional experience � You should possess a Masters or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with an understanding of functional verification concepts. Preferred Qualifications � Experience in developing validation plans, collecting and analyzing the test results and being able to debug the failures � Good working knowledge of System Verilog � Understanding of either one or more of reuse methodologies like VMM/OVM/eRM/AVM/RVM, preferably UVM. � Experience with regression testing. � Experience in DDR protocols is an added advantage. � Familiar in scripting languages and utilities like Make, Perl, Python, etc. will be plus.Inside this Business GroupIP Engineering Group's (IPG) vision Build IPs that power Intel's leadership products and power our customer's silicon.
