Job Description

We are searching for a Thailand Consumer Community Manager to drive our community strategy and plan with a primary focus on gaming & esports. In this role, you will leverage your knowledge and passion of the PC industry, gaming, esports, and PC hardware to engage with consumers in conversation, build, and report on community sentiment, and develop engaging community-oriented content for our social channels. The position also entails supporting event-based campaigns where you are required onsite to develop and post social content, liaise with key partners, and stakeholders to deliver social engagements via retail and channel partners. You will also provide marketing assistance to the Thailand Country Marketing Manager and lead influencer campaign management.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the marketing and regional social media lead to strategise, plan, and execute global community campaigns/content for Intel related social handles. As well as develop community activations around key moments for Intel: campaigns, partner moments, and esports/consumer events
  • Engage with the local community daily maintaining a strong dialogue, demonstrating a deep understanding, and appreciation for what makes consumers/gamers engage with Intel and other brands in the industry
  • Capture new audiences, make friends/followers/fans, create communities, and build relationships with Intel fans and influencers to cultivate advocates
  • Collaboration and liaison with key partners and stakeholders to devise Intel led marketing campaigns. Reconcile overlapping or competing social strategies and campaigns with a community-first perspective.
  • Stay abreast of Intel’s cross-portfolio editorial as well as marketing strategies and plans
  • Set targets, track, and report performance in lockstep with stakeholders including Intel’s global data and analytics team, APJ Centre of Excellence (CoE), and agency partners. Utilise insights to inform strategy and plans. Drive program optimization for content mix, formats, and distribution strategies
  • Customer service: capability to answer higher level PC related questions about our products and general PC questions. Escalate any other issues in a timely manner to stakeholders or customer service teams
  • Gaming event support and project management to bring Intel Gaming presence to life at events. Partner with regional social media lead to support real-time event coverage worldwide with agile social media content curation and community engagement
  • Partner with the regional social media lead to develop and execute an engaging local social editorial calendar in alignment with the social media and content strategy
  • Manage a detailed vision of the editorial strategy and positioning of Intel’s communities across @ handles and align communities to our target audiences and business funnels
  • Support our software and hardware partnerships through social amplification, engagement, and co-marketing activations
  • Experiment with production processes pertaining to new content types and styles. Adept at utilising content management systems
  • Develop and maintain community management playbooks to help guide our global teams on best practices and approaches to better engage with gamers on social
  • Across social media best practices and emerging trends with a social-first approach

Qualifications
  • Business / Marketing related University degree
  • 2+ years as a community manager/ managing marketing campaigns in the gaming industry preferred
  • 3+ years managing agencies and vendors
  • You are a part of the gaming community: you share the same passion for PC gaming, hardware, and esports as our community
  • Strong team player with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships cross-functionally
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail
  • Leads with integrity, accountability, and professionalism
  • Ability to work nimbly and navigate a complex matrix organisation
  • Strategic and creative with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to leverage data to inform strategic decisions including social listening, audience insights, platform trends etc.
  • Social media crisis management and mitigation strategy experience
  • Required to provide samples of copy writing and content created for social media

Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
