Job Description

Xe Silicon Engineering(XSE) is looking for a SoC Power Architect to drive power and performance optimizations across super compute graphics processors. You will be a member of the architecture team that defines the features for Intel's hardware design engineers, software engineers, and validation teams to build industry-leading products.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Develop innovative power management solutions that comprehend diverse workloads
  • Architect the PM microcontrollers and firmware
  • Drive the SoC Power Management Architecture for one or more products
  • Specify hardware vs. firmware partitioning along with architectural interfaces and algorithms
  • Drive architecture standardization, automation, and configurability
  • Oversee post-silicon PM tuning
  • Convert High-Level Product and Industry Specs into detailed Architectural feature definitions

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of industry experience. OR a Master's Degree in the same fields with 6+ years of experience:

Your experience should be in the following:

  • SoC architecture and Power Management
  • Ability to develop power management strategies to meet product KPIs and corresponding architectures to realize those strategies
    Experience with clearly specifying interfaces, requirements, and targets with IP architect suppliers
  • Power fundamentals and the tradeoffs available to optimize dynamic and leakage power
  • Technical design skills (design and validation of different aspects of systems according to the specifications)
  • Data analysis and debugging

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Complex, highly integrated SoC architectures
  • GPU architecture
  • Embedded Firmware/Software Architecture
  • 3D, Machine Learning, and/or media architectures and workloads
  • SoC design and validation
  • Power and performance analysis

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:$148,930.00-$238,410.00

Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
