Job Description

The Software and Advanced Technology Group (SATG) at Intel is looking for an AI Solutions Engineer Intern. Within the SATG, the AI Community Enabling team engages with the AI developer community to drive broad education and adoption of Intel's AI tools.
On this team, we combine AI domain expertise with a passion for making others successful in solving programming challenges.

  • We create and deliver technical training, community building and developer evangelism through workshops, sample code, conference speakerships, meet-ups, training platforms, blogs, and direct community outreach (eg., Kaggle, GitHub, Medium, YouTube, etc.).

  • We are responsible for executing a global developer education and enabling program.

  • This position may require up to 10 percent travel to in-person team meetings, external workshops and developer conferences.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a graduate (MS / PhD) degree in computer science, or a STEM field.

  • Completed a Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a STEM field.

  • 1+ years of project experience in Python.

  • Comfortable in AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, and XGBoost.

  • Creating technical training content with compelling code samples and demos.

  • Conducting training workshops, webinars, hackathons, meet-ups.

  • Exceptional communicator and willing to make presentations to large audiences.

  • Software evangelism and building developer communities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A solid reputation and following in AI developer communities.

  • Experience committing to an open-source project.

  • C++ programming experience is a plus.

Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
