The F11X Equipment and Operations Area Manager (AM) will be reporting to the Fab 11x WSPP Department Manager (DM) and will be responsible for:

  • Managing the performance and development of an organization of 8-12 Shift Group Leaders (SGL) and 100-150 Manufacturing Technicians (MT).

  • Partnering with the Engineering, People Systems, and Production Dept to ensure the safe, successful execution of development, ramp, and production deliverables.

  • Working with their SGL team to drive standardization and efficiency across the 168-hour team.

  • The Area Manager matrixed team will work together to deliver world-class equipment productivity performance using High Precision Maintenance (HPM) and LEAN principles.

  • Aligning and partnering with other AMs to develop roadmaps for standardizing factory standards for operational methodologies, Fab of the Future efficiencies, SGL/MT upskilling and training, and Critical Success Indicators.

  • Developing a strong SGL team to continuously improve the work environment for the MT population.

  • Managing MT resourcing and allocations across the 168-hour team.

  • Demonstrated skills to drive complicated After Action Reviews (AARs to resolution with implemented key learnings and preventative measures.

  • Able to drive continuous improvement using HPM and LEAN methodologies.

  • Is willing to flex hours to work across the 168-hour team. The schedule will be 4X10 on-site with 2 of the days skewing into the night shift.

  • Well-versed in Lean Principles.

  • Demonstrated Kaizen or Rapid Innovated High Velocity (RIHV) leadership.

  • Technical experience in equipment ownership and continuous improvement.

  • Experienced in training systems, performance management, and people development.

  • Demonstrated Model Based Problem Solving leadership.

  • Driven improvements in safety/ergonomics, quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, and productivity over variables such as equipment, environment, and operating personnel.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/higher degree (Technical/Engineering/Operations Management) OR 5+ years of semiconductor management experience with an Associate Degree or equivalent Military experience.

  • 5+ years of semiconductor management experience.

  • 5+ years of management experience.
