Intel New Mexico Disaggregated Manufacturing Operations has many exciting opportunities for growth at our manufacturing facility. The next week we work three days on and four days off.  Apply and lets get started today.

  • This position is for Compressed Work Week Schedule in Rio Rancho NM (Fab11x/9). Shifts 4, 5, 6 and 7 have openings:

Sunday through Tuesday (every other Wednesday) 7AM to 7PM

Thursday through Saturday (every other Wednesday) 7AM to 7PM

Sunday through Tuesday (every other Saturday) 7PM to 7AM

Wednesday through Friday (every other Saturday) 7PM to 7AM

  • Start dates beginning in January 2023.

  • This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.


Manufacturing Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including:

  • Operations, equipment's, process, and training.

  • Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.

  • Responsible for running lots in a qualitative way. Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining.

  • Perform operational tasks, preventative maintenance and/or assist in troubleshooting to determine problems in equipment used in the manufacturing process.

In addition, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability. May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required. Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters. High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • The candidate must possess at least one of the following educational or experience requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years of Military technical experience.

  • Minimum 1+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience (ops/process).

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience performing hands-on preventative, corrective maintenance on 300mm semiconductor equipment (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair and operation Semiconductor manufacturing technology.

  • The use of job-specific fixtures, basic hand tools, and airline supplied respirators (could be required) and spend the majority of the time (>90% less break time) on the floor working on tool sets, processing WIP.

  • Preventative Maintenance on production equipment may require mechanical aptitude, walking up to 3 miles in a 12 hour shift, lifting up to 35 pounds and/or standing/sitting for extended periods of time.

  • This position is not open for Intel Immigration Sponsorship.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated skills to influence the content and creation of new specs, procedures and business processes related to equipment maintenance.

  • Knowledge of process control systems.

  • Experience with schematics and complex drawings/diagrams

  • Integrated circuit fabrication experience.

  • Computer skills are desired.
