Tax Manager / Specialist
Job Description
Grange Newco LLC is a joint venture entity between Intel Corporation and Apollo managed funds and affiliates, related to Intel's Fab34.
The Tax Specialist role within the company is a key role ensuring the effective and smooth operation of tax processes underlying the business and operating agreements between Intel Corporation and Grange NewCo LLC.
This role reports to the General Manager and cross-functionally to the Corporate Irish Global Tax General Manager. In addition to strong technical expertise, the successful candidate will build a strong working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure all tax positions are managed effectively and in compliance with the company's obligations.
Responsibilities
Manage all direct tax compliance requirements through third-party providers.
Oversee the direct and indirect tax compliance process.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end procedures.
Assist with global transfer pricing initiatives, compliance, and processes.
Work closely with the Financial Reporting and Global Tax teams on tax reporting, monthly provision calculations, and other accounting activities and tax projects as required for Grange.
Work with Irish Revenue on related tax topics as needed.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience at a multinational corporation and/or public accounting firm.
University degree, with advanced degree or professional qualification in tax, law, or accounting preferred.
Strong tax technical knowledge and practical experience.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, a methodical approach, with proven experience and a 'can do' attitude that is solutions-oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly collaborative nature and enjoyment of working within a global team.
Ability to work independently and/or cross-functionally to own and drive tax process improvements.
Proficiency with MS Excel. Knowledge of SAP, OneSource, and other tax software packages is an advantage.
