Job Description

Join the Product Quality Network (PQN) and help deliver world class products that exceed customer expectations. PQN is part of the Intel Product Group (IPG), and works across a wide range of stakeholders to deliver the highest quality products through deep technical leadership and embedding quality across Intel. The successful candidate will join the Manufacturing Quality and Reliability team within PQN.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

As IPG focuses on being a world class Fabless company, you will be responsible for working with a number of key stakeholders across our foundry suppliers and product teams to ensure product quality meets customer expectations. In particular, this will involve significant interface with Intel Foundry, across areas such as:

  • Technology and product qualification (defining product technology requirements with suppliers, working in depth with partners as part of product qualification).

  • Issue management (working with suppliers to risk assess MRBs).

  • Process change control (de-risking process change).

  • Wafer acceptance (aligning minimum acceptance criteria with foundry counterparts).

  • Manufacturing defect screening (defining our stress/test methods).

  • Strong communication skills are important - the successful candidate will be expected to share requests, challenges, good news and bad news with a range of organizations and leaders.

  • Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy, and in dealing with multi functional teams

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Engineering Degree or related field with 9+ years of semiconductor industry experience OR

  • Master's in Engineering Degree or related field with 6+ years of semiconductor industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Materials Science major or related field with 2+ years of semiconductor industry experience

  • Knowledge in reliability engineering, including the key modulators of product reliability from both the manufacturing process and product configuration. Reliability modelling skills are a strong advantage.

  • Knowledge of advanced node Fab process and manufacturing.

  • Experience in data analysis skills (SQL and Python Scripting as an added advantage).
