FPGA Tools and Modeling Software Architect
You'll be part of a team developing the next generation of FPGA design tools for Intel's Programmable Solutions Group. We are looking for an energetic, top-notch FPGA Hardware Software Architect who will be directly responsible for defining the next generation Hard Processor System, Network on Chip, Source Synchronous IO and Transceiver IP and the tools flow to easily enable solutions for customer.
The ideal candidate has experience multiple FPGA development life cycles and understand the intricate handshake and co-development environment between silicon design and software tools developers. They have demonstrated they can identify architecture that are user and Software friendly. The candidate must also demonstrate clear understanding of what a good customer tool flow and possess excellent communication skills.
In this role you will get to own:
Hardware/Software Co-Design with silicon and soft-IP architects defining requirements and specifications of complex next generation Embedded Processors, Source Synchronous IO Solutions (DDR, MIPI), SerDes Transceiver Solutions.
Architect customer design flow from IP generations to various Intel Quartus tools integrating multiple IP into complex sub-system solutions.
Architect new tools to enable earlier customer engagement with ability to evaluate system performance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience.
- 8+ years of relevant experience, experience should include FPGA Development.
- 6+ years of experience with FPGA architectures and modeling
