The Taiwan Communications manager is responsible for the development and execution of communication strategies in Taiwan to protect and promote Intel's reputation.

The successful candidate will :
-work directly with the Intel Taiwan management team and business unit spokespeople to tell Intel's technology leadership story with media, analysts, earned influencers, employees and other targeted audiences such as customers, partners and government stakeholders in Taiwan.
-manage all media and analyst relations for Intel in Taiwan, as well as PR agencies and other related vendors.
-need to work closely with the regional and global Communications teams to plan and execute large-scale communication programs and activations in the local market.
-be a champion of the corporate narrative and is expected to know and apply it as well as promote its use with stakeholders.
-Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders based in Taiwan. Help the leadership team develop their messaging platform and establish their media presence via opinion pieces, interview opportunities, external speaking engagements, and more.
-Drive impactful product launches.
-Create storytelling opportunities to showcase how Intel technology is impacting human lives in a positive way.
-Work collaboratively with the business teams to identify and consistently raise the bar on thought leadership stories that will further raise the Intel brand in region.
-Collaborate cross functionally with local HR, marketing and employee/site comms.
-Provide communications counsel in crisis management situations.
-Develop and maintain direct relationships with key business/technology reporters and analysts in Taiwan.
-Manage local budget and agencies.
-Serve as a company spokesperson.


Qualifications


Preferred qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in media or communications, in-house or with an agency.
  • Prior experience in the technology industry
  • Excellent oral or written communications in local language and English
  • Strong media relations

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
