This position is for a Sales solution engineer Internship developing and creating solutions for our customers. We're looking for someone who has a keen interest in computer hardware and software and will be hands on developing future computing solutions from Client through to server for a wide range of partners and customers across the UK.
You will be a member of a team which will help our customers solve their largest challenges and get to work on leading edge technology. Location is Swindon, UK. However, we are open to a hybrid option with 1 day of travel to Swindon UK one day a week.
Your responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
-Working with customers to help them design and/or create solutions
-Gaining a deeper understanding of Computer architecture from client through to servers
-Supporting customers and sales teams to build proof-of-concepts and enable deployment and adoption of new technologies
-Performing benchmarking and competitive analysis and reporting findings to customers
-There is scope for getting involved in other exciting projects outside of the day-to-day responsibilities

-Knowledge with programming languages such as CPython, Java and C++
-Ability to work through problems and innovate
-Able to deal with a rapidly-changing environment and act on your own initiative
-Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of studies

About the internship
This is a 13-month fixed-term placement suitable for students currently studying a sandwich degree course in a relevant discipline and is targeted at 2nd year students enrolled in a 4 years bachelor's degree or enrolled in Master’s Integrated Course which includes a year in industry (or equivalent).
We ask that all applicants are current university students and will remain students during the whole internship. Candidates must be based in the UK upon the start date of this internship, and for its entire duration.
