China Bets - GPU Virtualization Senior Engineer

Job Description

Intel AXG China is looking for a graphics software engineer with driver development expertise that will enhance Intel Graphics driver quality and solution. Who will focus on PRC customer issue disposition and customer feature enabling which may include all Graphics components, e.g., 3D, compute, media, display, kernel mode driver, etc. as well as virtualization buildup for cloud gaming market. The candidate will work with various BU and groups locally and world-wide to address and track customer issues into closure with a good solution. This role will support both client and datacenter needs, support local workshop and events, and resolve OEM urgent/gating issues efficiently.

Qualifications

Minimum:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with 8 + years of industry experience in R/D, product development and/or validation. -OR- Master's Degree with 6 + years of industry experience in R/D.

- Solid understanding and experience developing applications with at least one function area, like KMD, display, 3D(DX/OGL/Vulkan), Media.

- In-depth of knowledge in the areas of GPU driver and OS (Windows/Linux) internal

- Strong oral and written communication skills and clarity in technical communications.

- Self-starter and driven with the ability to work independently and lead technical projects.



Preferred:

- Rich experience on GPU Virtualization tech based on SR-IOV, GPUMMU programming. Hypervisor debug skillset

- Familiar with Intel iGPU and dGPU products and rich experience on driver debug and development on Intel platform

- 5+ years of customer supporting experience on customer issue solution driving and feature enabling

- Deep experience developing graphics device drivers and serving at hardware/software function team like KMD, Display, D3D, Media is a plus

- Good experience on support cloud gaming program and ISV enabling experience is a plus

- Good at the debugging the issue with tool like windbg, WPA, GPU view and etc

- Experience on AMD/Intel/NVIDIA driver programming dev/val knowledge is a plus.
