Intel Silicon Photonics Product Division (SPPD) is at the forefront of silicon photonics integration. Since announcing the world's first hybrid silicon laser nearly a decade ago, our team continues to lead the industry with cutting-edge technology and efficient, scalable high-volume manufacturing.
SPPD is looking for an experienced program manager to drive execution of industry-leading LiDAR sensors for use in autonomous vehicles. The focus will span the development of multiple product components as well as the development of key technology IP blocks that will be used in the current and future roadmaps. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

In this role your responsibilities will be:

  • Partner with engineering teams (fab, packaging, architecture, design, and Quality-Reliability)
  • Balance the technical needs vs business impact to set development program priorities and to manage schedule execution
  • Manage interdependencies and integration among product and IP development swim lanes
  • Proactively and tactically mitigate schedule, resource, and priority conflicts
  • Regularly communicate status updates for development activities to internal and external customer management teams

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Optoelectronics, Physics, Technology Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management
  • Be flexible to the dynamics of an emerging/start-up market where plans can pivot and/or have periods of ambiguity
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
  • Experience managing complex projects/programs
  • Excellent spoken and written communication with the ability to tailor communication style to multiple audiences
  • Proven record of managing schedule execution
  • Has desire to develop and expand their scope and skills as the product roadmap grows over time


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience on complex development programs, product management and customer interfacing.
  • Experience in LiDAR/3D sensing technology and applications such as self-driving vehicles, robotics, and AR/XR.
  • Experience in silicon photonics, photonics, semiconductor design, packaging, and production.
  • Master's degree in Optoelectronics, PMP certification or MBA.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $156,950.00-$274,730.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
