Job Description

An RFID Design Engineer for mask manufacturing specializes in developing and implementing RFID identification tags. These tags collect information about a tagged unit using a specialized device. They design and integrate RFID systems to streamline manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient inventory management and quality control. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize RFID solutions, conducting tests to validate system performance, and staying updated with the latest advancements in RFID technology. RFID engineers design and develop these tags, invent new technology usage, conduct thorough testing on produced products, and troubleshoot defective products.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 1 years' experience as an RF engineer in the mobile telecommunications industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Semiconductor Fabrication and Lithography.
  • Knowledge of RF hardware systems, testing equipment, and LTE/RF networks.
  • Proficient with mapping software like Sierra, Atoll, and MapInfo.
  • Ensuring RF test equipment calibration and regulatory compliance.
  • Testing and analyzing wireless networks and RF broadcasting equipment.
  • Designing RF installations for new networks and troubleshooting issues.
  • Conducting laboratory tests on RF equipment and suggesting improvements.
