System Software Engineer

The qualified candidate will join Intel Flex Costa Rica as a Full-Stack System Software Engineer and will have opportunities to participate in a variety of projects as part of product development or research. The main focus of this position will be on system-level software development, in areas such as Cloud Solutions, OS kernel, firmware development, network/graphics, I/O driver development, imaging/media development, machine learning, computer vision and many others.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum Qualifications
Advanced student of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
2+ years of Work or Academic experience with C++ and Python programming, data structures and algorithms
2+ years of Work or Academic experience of version control and continuous integration tools (GIT, GITHUB, SVN, etc)
Advanced English Level
Candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica
Preferred Qualifications
OS Kernels, multi-threading programming, memory and resource management.
Embedded systems, microcontrollers and CPU architecture.
Hardware low-level components such as I/O's, interrupts, network communication protocols.
FPGA, (System)Verilog/VHDL, OpenCL or RTL Design.
