We are looking for a Supply Chain Student Worker within the Intel Global Logistics Organization.

The key functions and successful employee will be responsible, but not limited to:

  • Manage freight payment processes for assigned suppliers. Identify improvements based on understanding of business processes and supply chain dependencies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams involving various improvement activities.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage stakeholders, data analytics, external benchmarking and system enhancements.
  • Student employee can do specific work in the area of their future degree in information technology, supply chain or Data Analytics.

A successful candidate must demonstrate desired behavioral traits:

  • Advanced communication, problem solving and sense of urgency skills.
  • Willing to operate in a highly matrix and dynamic (continually changing) environment.
  • Develop effective relationships for achieving key deliverables and to properly prioritize workload.
  • Willing to learn global transportation Industry.

Qualifications

Must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must be an active student and have at least 50 percent of advanced Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and data mining skills including proficiency with Excel, SQL, Access, Python and/or Power BI.

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Upper Intermediate to Advanced English level.

  • Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active student in a Master's degree program in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field.

  • Strong financial acumen.

  • Supply chain experience in transportation or warehousing.
