Job Description


The mission of Intel's Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is to drive the future for FPGAs and Structured ASICs technology/solutions around the globe.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks. Used for jobs with a higher market rate than standard tech jobs.

Length of Internship: 6+ months with the possibility to extend it for business needs.This is an entry level position and, it will be compensated accordingly.


Qualifications


Qualifications

You must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements
The candidate must be pursuing a master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Scripting languages such as: e.g., TCL, Python.

Digital design  

SPICE


Preferred qualifications
6+ months experience in the following areas:
ASIC timing formats such as Liberty, SPEF, Verilog, and SDC
Static Timing Analysis

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $63,000.00-$166,000.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
