We are looking for a candidate for a temporary position who has not yet graduated and is working towards a relevant bachelor or Licentiate degree from an academic institute. A Student employee can do specific work in the area of their future degree or work as a Generalist in a specific department.

The Costa Rica Logistics Student Worker will report into the CR Logistics manager and will support activities for managing all types of data analysis related with costs, metrics, budget, and key metrics for Costa Rica Site (domestic and international). The role will support key activities related to support business analyst area, also develop metrics to measure performance of operations import and movement of raw materials. The shipment types include (but are not limited to) semi-finished goods (i.e. assembled units from other sites or external manufacturers), Finished Goods (revenue shipments to customers or replenishment to global hubs/cross-docks/consignment inventory points), new or re-used Capital Equipment (inbound/outbound), direct and indirect materials, spares, components and other accessories or goods to support Test and Finish or warehouse operations. This role will require coordination/calibration with logistics and Transportation groups across countries, Intel Transportation Procurement group, Quality partners and Corporate and Site security.

  • Versatility and adaptability, identifying business opportunities, working independently to create and execute plans of action, and the ability to influence and deliver results in a dynamic, cross functional, global, team-oriented environment.

  • Strong presentation skills required to create, deliver and influence stakeholders.

  • Solid analytical skills are required in identifying, analyzing and root-causing and driving appropriate action plans.

  • Background in finance, Cost or business administration.


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active student of bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, industrial engineering or related field.

  • 50 percentage of courses approved.

  • Intermediate Excel experience.

  • Intermediate to advanced English Level.

  • Experience with data analysis, database management & data interpretation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or any other improvement methodology knowledge/experience.

  • Previous SAP experience.

  • Willing to work 30+ hours.

  • PowerBI strongly preferred.

Working Model
