Cloud Solution Architect - Telco
Join one of the fastest growing segments at Intel - the Networking and Telco team. We are looking for a senior Cloud Solutions Architect to accelerate our engagement with Google Cloud.
As a key member to the team you will own the development and delivery of Telco solutions to drive Telco solutions through Google.

The individual will have the opportunity to create a multi-year strategy working with Google and leading Networking and Communications Service Providers.
The induvial will be responsible for having an expert understanding of the industry, business use cases, multi cloud options and use cases, technical merits of cloud using Intel products and technologies, and TCO value propositions.
Proactively drive Intel and customer revenue growth by accelerating the adoption of value added cloud solution architectures, showcasing Intel's advanced products and technologies. The role cultivates senior level relationships with global Cloud Service Providers CSPs, Digital Services SaaS providers, Enterprise, Cloud and Public Sector customers, Independent Software Vendors ISVs and SI MSP partners to maximize Intel mind share and Intel product preference.
This is an exciting transformational role with great opportunities for growth and impact, a successful candidate will be responsible for:
Evangelizing and winning the server and infrastructure architectures in focused accounts to drive telco solutions by offering compelling and cohesive benefits based on Intel platforms.
Understanding the business use cases, technical merits and evaluating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) vs moving to Cloud.
Value propositions of Intel solutions for the CSP; identifying gaps and opportunities, and putting in place strategies to address, win and deploy Telecom solutions that drive alignment with the CSP's service offerings
Defining and advocating Intel based cloud solutions for communication service providers.
Possess proven knowledge of Cloud computing, containerization technologies eg. Kubernetes, 5G RAN and Core, MEC and Private networks
Act as a key technical influencer to drive internal, external and partner roadmap alignment to successfully deliver customer outcomes
Work in a collaborative team environment, within the account team and with business unit and partner teams, coordinating the right resources to get the job done, taking ownership, or handing off where appropriate
Stay current and familiar with emerging vertical and horizontal technologies, products, and technology trends.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
5+ years overall industry experience with a strategic mindset to identify Telco trends, to drive next generation of transformation
3+ years of Telco experience in a technical customer facing role within a medium to large organization with a strong track record of selling technical Cloud (Public, Private, Hybrid), Data or AI solutions
3+ Experience working with Google Cloud/Anthos solutions, Telco technology use cases and business understanding.
Experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise and telco scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle
Telecom ecosystem experience including with ISV, OEM, or Testing Vendor, driving systems architecture, preferably at a large-scale CSP, with experience across the following areas:
Experience working with Cloud Solutions such as Azure/Azure Stack, Amazon Web Services/Outposts, Google Cloud/Anthos, Alibaba/Tencent/Baidu cloud, VMware Cloud Foundation/Tanzu, IBM Cloud/CloudPaks, Salesforce, Oracle Cloud, Rackspace.
