Shift Team Lead

Job Description

As a Shift Team lead, set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage shift operation and equipment performance. Responsible for manage the activities of product teams or staff in a manufacturing area. Assesses personnel and material levels to determine production schedules. Assigns personnel and monitors the flow of work in process through the manufacturing facility. Higher job levels establish operating policies and procedures, coordination of multiple functions within a manufacturing facility, establishing strategic plans to ensure production schedules are met within established quality and cost objectives. Responsible for overall safety of personnel, company assets, and the surrounding environment. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense. Your responsibilities include but not limited to below tasks:

-Drive for continuous improvement project on equipment, software, new technology introduction and first cut analysis investigation.
-Lead shift activity and escalation, Adjust to a multitasking environment.
Responsible for the area performance activities integration continuity of 24x7 and consistency between shifts. Assuming direct ownership of all on shift issues within assigned toolset.
-Consistently provide technical troubleshooting support, trainings/coaching, response flow checklist, best known method to ops tech team.
-Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.

Qualifications

Qualification:
-Bachelor Degree in Electronic / Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field.
-Basic coding, database experience and analysis knowledge in Excel, JMP, Power Query, SQL, C++, Python, Power-BI etc.
-Minimum 2-3 years working experience required.

Soft Skills / Behavioural Traits:
-Demonstrated discipline, attentiveness to detail and self-independent.
-Capable to timely manage multiple assignments and meet the deliverable timeline.
-Well communication skills, teamwork and influencing skills.
-Demonstrated Program Management skills to plan out the project flawlessly, timely.

This is a contract position for 24 months.

Working Model
