Senior Fixed Assets Accountant
Job Description
The job scope includes but not limited to: 1. Prepares and maintains Intel's financial records, negotiates and manages audits with audit seniors, manages interactions with external auditors and government authorities, and provides data analysis and insights that help stakeholders understand Intel's position to make appropriate financial decisions. 2. Maintains and analyzes the ledger accounts and prepares internal financial reporting of fixed assets and regulatory statutory financial reports. 3. Develops, revises, and maintains finance policies, procedures, internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with generally accepted reporting standards. 4. Defines the accounting system roadmap and system requirements for the future, and assists or directs system programming resources to develop accounting systems. 5. Validates the month-end accounts ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the reported results, ensures that schedules are prepared timely in a way that drives insights into the business results, proactively responds to management or auditor questions, and resolves issues. 6. Coordinates with statutory auditors and supports local corporate tax compliance, accounting, and reporting, ensuring local statutory accounts are filed on time to the appropriate authorities. 7. Drives capital accounting process simplification, accounting system automation and ad hoc projects, and acts as key point of contact for accounting/finance related matters. 8. Ensures compliance with appropriate standards and internal controls over financial reporting and operates cross-functionally with other departments to ensure proper accounting for new or unique transactions. 9. Support legal entity restructuring, legal entity eliminations or new entity setup initiatives on fixed assets module. 10. Support SAP S4 system design and implementation solutions which may include local statutory process standardization and optimization to cater SAP S4 system requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform users acceptance testing (UAT).Qualifications
Qualifications: � Bachelor's degree or Professional Degree in Accountancy. � Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA or equivalent). � Min 7 years of accounting experiences or more working in a global organization. External auditor experience and knowledge/experience with SAP S4 are preferred. � Strong technical accounting knowledge in both US GAAP and IFRS. � Demonstrate strong project management, communication and interpersonal skill, able to work independently as well as with large teams. � Ability to effectively work across organizations and geographies with tolerance for high ambiguity. � Results driven and organizational savvy. � Strong business partnership ensuring solid execution by meeting quality and customer services indicators and meeting service level agreements. � Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to challenge the status quo. � Strong capability in financial systems will be an added advantage, including SAP, Local GAAP and Reporting systems. � Passion and knowledge for Driving process improvements, Automation, and standardization.Inside this Business Group
