Logistics Service Manager
Job Description
- This Logistics Service Manager is reporting to ATM Logistics Director and responsible for managing both Warehousing and Transportation supplier performances through proactive governance.
- The role will also provide support to Operations and sourcing teams with supplier development, supplier qualification.
- Also helps to develop strategic engagements with suppliers.
- Provides regional escalations support for Logistics operations across Malaysia, Chengdu, Vietnam and Costa Rica.
- Plans/manages Supply Chain programs or projects to meet specific objectives or goals.
- Provides leadership for the project team and key interfaces to the project or program.
- This role can be performed from any ATML locations (MY, CD, VN, CR).
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the min requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors / Masters Degree in Supply Chain / Engineering or business with at least 5 years of experience.
- Prior experience running operations (logistics / transportation) in major factory / Design center locations Prior management experience handling global suppliers. Exposure to Warehousing/transportation / freight industry trends, supplier capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize work among competing priorities, orchestrate solutions with suppliers to arrive at best outcomes for Intel.
- Strong stakeholder management and people skills - internal and external -at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Intel's sourcing team (especially in logistics / transportation related area).
- Strong network with transportation suppliers in the region (Asia / Central America).
- Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
