Job Description
FPGA Software Engineers research, design, develop, and optimize software tools that enable the use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). Part of the global Quartus team building device models for hard IP. Develop and optimize flows, models, tools and runtimes that are closely coupled to FPGA silicon and IP, while leveraging knowledge of FPGA hardware, logic design, semiconductor devices and chip layout. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process.
Qualifications
Degree/Master in software/computer/Electronics engineering. Experience in C++ and scripting languages (Perl, Python, TCL etc). Knowledge in electronics (e.g. microprocessor, state machine) and verification/simulation (Verilog and VHDL)will be a plus. Welcome those with industrial working experience to apply.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
