Job DescriptionProgrammable Solutions Group (PSG) is responsible for architecture and design of Intel's FPGA products. These products have wide variety uses covering industrial automation, space exploration, data centers, automotive, and internet routers to name a few. This person would be part of a highly successful and visible role of building the key hardware components of the FPGA. This person should be willing to tackle the many challenges of nanometer process technology using industry standard and FPGA specific tools and flows. This role mainly focus on high speed Analog IO and PHY design including transmitter, receiver and voltage regulator for advanced DDR and LPDDR interfaces as well as LVDS and GPIO designs. This person should be comfortable with a versatile environment where we cover technical skills like Analog design, logic design, circuit design, signoff simulation, and oversee physical design activities. The primary goal is to develop best in class products which push the limit of power, performance, and cost.
- BS in Electronic Engineering or equivalent with 3 to 5 years of experience or Master Degree with industry experience.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with programming languages like Python, Perl, CSH, TCL, Makefiles. Strong understanding of hardware VLSI design, advanced process technology, logic design.
- Experience with Verilog, design signoff tools and flows, synthesis and place and route tools is a plus.
- Have experience in spectre/hspice/finesim simulator and virtuoso.

Working ModelThis role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
