Job Description

Description IT Engineering and DevCloud organization is responsible for developing and standardizing IoT solutions at Intel. The candidate will be an integral part of this Agile team with a specialisation in software development and hardware integration. Candidate should have previous experience in developing software within a scaled enterprise and experience with Linux based OS administration.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering or similar


Minimum
Linux system administration
Advanced experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python/Linux Shell/Bash.)
Automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Ansible/Puppet)
Experience with GIT, DevOps, Agile and CI/CD
System/software problem investigation and resolution (Servicenow, ITIL)


Preferred
Linux certification
Embedded Software development
System integration experience
Internet of Things knowledge
Operational support experience
Networking knowledge
Cloud development experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
