The IWS Engineer will work as part of the Industrial Waste System (IWS) group to support a wide variety of process treatment systems and unit operations. The person will be required to oversee, troubleshoot, sustain, and improve our Industrial Waste systems and processes. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to improve existing system performance, efficiency, reliability, develop procedures for system operation. IWS Engineering scope may also include project support, factory task forces, cross-site teams and cross-discipline teams as required.Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications ? You must possess a minimum of an Honours Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Science, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline (FETAC Level 8 equivalent or higher). Preferred Skills 2-3 years of relevant job experience in areas such as facilities waste/water systems demonstrating engineering principles, including chemical piping, neutralization, filtration, pumps operation and maintenance, valves, flow calculations and chemical analytical testing. ? Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. ? Ability to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction, and as part of a larger team. ? Good presentation skills and ability to communicate strategic and tactical concepts across a wide range of employees. ? Knowledge in pumps, mechanical systems, and pipes. ? Ability to solve relatively complicated problems with minimal supervision. ? Strong problem-solving ability. Be able to apply critical thinking when examining systems with safety and reliability in mind. ? Ability to manage projects from concept to delivery in a fast-paced environment.Inside this Business Group
