Estimating is part of TMG-TD and responsible to provide all estimating support for global capital projects supporting Technology Development (TD), Fab Construction Enterprise, Corporate Services, Assembly Test Manufacturing and Assembly Test TD.

This position is for a Strategic Estimator who will deliver global early/conceptual estimating services to inform and support corporate decision making and early project phases of global projects.
Strategic Estimator is a key role within the global Intel Estimating and Front-End Estimating Delivery teams. This role provides estimating leadership as a key participant in early project development and strategic initiatives. This position will be responsible for the delivery of estimating services including alignment with stakeholders and business units, development of early estimate plans, coordination and oversight of estimating support resources, publication of early/conceptual project estimates and ensuring adherence to respective estimating policies and procedures. In this role you will contribute to strategic planning and tactical development to grow and improve Intel Estimating and support of business partners.
Estimator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Deliver estimating services projects teams and business partners.
Develop strategies to deliver estimates that inform corporate decision making related to various projects.
Manage the production, timeliness, quality and accuracy of estimates. Align with stakeholders and project teams, provide management reporting. Review and validate estimates developed estimating support resources. Develop and publish estimates.
Ensure all estimates have comprehended the most probable cost outcome and account for all related costs. Conduct project risk assessments with project teams and stakeholders, drive risk mitigation and account for risks in estimates.
Ensure compliance with global estimating processes and procedures. Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement thereof.
Develop and support option, ROI analysis. Inform and guide stakeholders and project teams to enable decision making, achieve cost goals, and drive best value.
Maintain local, regional global market knowledge and address in estimates and inform project teams and estimating teams.
Ensure attributing of estimate data is aligned with standards and support downstream functions and central estimate data collection.
Foster continuous improvement and drive innovation.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Management, Engineering, or other related fields, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in construction, construction estimating, cost engineering, project controls manager.
5+ years of experience in Semiconductor Industry or comparable experience in Pharmaceutical, Petro-Chemical, Refineries, Pulp and Paper or other Heavy Industrial industry.
Experience using estimate development and analytical tools such as Excel, various Databases apps, Power BI, etc.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
