HDMT-on-Prober Wafer Sort Module Engineer
Job Description
Intel's Sort/Test Technology Development (STTD) group operates at the leading edge of test equipment development, driving world-class innovations in manufacturing and process control to enable Intel's product roadmap.
This position is for a HDMT-on-Prober (HoP) Wafer Sort Module Engineer within the STTD group. As the HoP Wafer Sort Module engineer, the candidate will develop hardware and/or software capabilities for the equipment set, develop new methods for module troubleshooting.
The candidate will also own, develop, and improve module equipment and operation systems in order to enhance their quality, reliability and manufacturability. In addition, the candidate will be expected to work with probe card technology and product development teams to improve and optimize the HoP Wafer Sort capabilities and process for release to high-volume manufacturing.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess MS degree with 3+ years of experience or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related Engineering field and related industry.
- 2+ years of manufacturing or laboratory operation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience in the following:
- Intel tool install/qualification.
- JSL and SQL scripting/programming.
- Wafer Sort, Die Sort or related manufacturing floor.
- Process control.
