We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the DCAIs Custom Design Engineering (CDE) team as a Signal Integrity intern. This position will be part of a larger a cross functional Architecture/Engineering team (i.e., Board/ System, Thermal/Mechanical, SI/PI/PD, etc.) responsible to help Co-Engineering Reference Design Systems with strategic customers.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with various engineering disciplines (i.e., Thermal, Mechanical, Analog, FW, BIOS, SW, Validation, PnP) throughout the Design, and Validation phases -- driving a high performing/quality platform to MP (mass production).

  • Analyze electrical test/validation data and correlate to internal data on internal platforms, determine opportunities for optimizations.

  • Delivers signal integrity solutions for large, complex highspeed platforms, boards, and packages.

  • Develops a viable space for all interconnects including 2D and 3D models extracts of electrical structures for the entire die-to-die interconnect.

  • Defines signal integrity rules, reviews implementation, documents characterization and measurement reports, and improves and optimizes design margins.

  • Applies knowledge of signal integrity design and tradeoffs to perform simulations of interconnect and guide package and platform physical implementation and designs and characterizes test structures to correlate simulations and measurements for interconnects using intricate highspeed equipment and debugs challenges.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • The candidate must be studying a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related STEM field.

  • 3+ months of experience in:

    • Hardware design.

    • Data analysis.

    • Simulation tools.

    • Scripting.

  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.

  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Preferrable to know Transmission Line Theory.

  • Electrical Circuits knowledge.

  • Familiarity with PC/Server architecture.

Working Model
