Who We're Looking For
We are seeking candidates with strong communication and core software engineering skills. You should be able to work with domain experts to understand requirements and then propose and implement software solutions. While you don't need to be proficient in all technical domains, you should be flexible and open to learning new skills.
For this role, we are looking for a Software/Firmware Engineer with low-level programming experience in Real-Time or Embedded systems. If you have experience in C, C++, or Python, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.
What to Expect in This Position
- Designing and Developing: Create and develop software across multiple layers of the software stack, including firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, frameworks, algorithms, and applications/UI.
- Integrating and Validating: Ensure seamless integration and validation of software components.
- Debugging: Identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Diverse Technologies: Work on different technologies and products from various market segments.
Location and Work Mode
We are based in Gdansk, Poland, and operate in a hybrid mode, meeting on-site at least 1-2 times per week.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications (required):
- Education: BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in one of the following areas:
- Strong C/C++ skills with RTOS or Embedded low-level software development or
- Strong Python skills with application development.
- Linux Expertise: Proven experience with Linux projects, including development and problem-solving.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in verbal and written English, enabling effective communication with stakeholders.
- Personal Attributes: Self-driven, open-minded, and adaptable.
Nice to have qualifications (seen as advantage):
- Optimization Skills: Experience in low-level software optimizations to maximize hardware utilization.
- Kernel Contributions: Experience contributing kernel patches to the Linux project or similar.
- Architecture Knowledge: Proficiency with x86 and/or ARM architecture.
- Machine Learning: Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
