The Corporate Controllers Office CCO is seeking a Poland Accounting Manager to play a critical role in leading and developing Intels Polish Accounting Operations and processes as Intel continues to expand its worldwide footprint and investments as part of its IDM 2 0 strategy

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and deep subject matter expertise in Polish GAAP and accounting local regulations and compliances The successful candidate will lead a team of 6 Accounting employees with responsibility for Polish Legal Entity financial reporting and compliances.

The candidate should have strong communication skills to collaborate and influence both functional and local business leaders together with the drive and leadership skills to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our Polish accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements including Financial Statements preparation and filing successful external audit CIT VAT WHT Research and Development Tax relief fillings stock counting managing a proactive and successful approach towards queries from local Tax Authorities Auditors
  • Implementing solutions responding to new local regulations accounting tax e invoicing VAT etc ensuring integration with global solutions
  • Leading and partnering in x functional global projects such as acquisitions integrations mergers divestitures and liquidations ensuring local statutory accounting and tax requirements are met
  • Streamlining accounting processes by transitioning scope defining new roles and responsibilities in line with Companys compliance needs
  • Growing and developing a team of accounting professionals to drive end to end financial ownership and local reporting
  • Serving as a technical consultant to senior management and external operations for projects and or matters regarding company policy and practices
  • Ensuring proper financial controls and business processes are in place to protect the assets of the Corporation


  • Bachelors, Masters or MBA degree in Finance is an advantage
  • Professional Accounting Qualification CPA or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Local GAAP/ US GAAP and its practical application
  • 7 or more years of related practical experience.
  • Experience in organizational development and managing of a Team.
  • Ability to effectively work across organizations and geographies with tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Proven track record of strong partnering and influencing.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to challenge the status quo to drive

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
